THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 21,000 MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH IN THESE ISLANDS. STAKES OF THE CHURCH ARE LOCATED ON THE ISLANDS OF TAHITI, MOOREA, RAIATEA, TAHAA, BORA BORA, HUAHINE, AND MAUPITI, WITH BRANCHES OF THE CHURCH ON MANY OTHER ISLANDS.
ISLAND LANGUAGES
French is the language of government/schools and Tahitian the language of the natives of French Polynesia.
